Art Nuvo

The name of Art Nouveau (or the Art nouveau) comes from the French word L'Art Nouveau that in translation means "new art". So the French art in the period of the Modernist style at a boundary of the XIX-XX centuries was called. Though actually definition of Art Nouveau belongs to art a modernist style only partially, in practice this one of the directions of "florealny" style which else is called decorative and ornamental style.

Symbols of style of Art Nouveau - a cyclamen flower in a sophisticated form and "water" plants: lilies, an iris, seaweed, and also the stylized animal and vegetable forms with soft mobile lines which don't give a shadow because of the plane.

The interior in style of Art Nouveau will please fans of the nature when all details in registration of the room seem natural and natural. For this reason style doesn't welcome use of straight lines. Of course, even here you won't find right angles – they are skillfully shaded and rounded. The same, by the way, concerns also furniture, rough keen edges are simply contraindicated here.

By the color, style also imposes special requirements. It is a limited color palette in which shades of water elements prevail: white, blue, under gold or silver (imitating gloss of water on the sun).

As for materials for finishing of rooms in style of Art Nouveau, here the designer has a big freedom of choice, the main thing that all materials were harmoniously combined with each other. Metal, a tree, a stone and glass, and also wall-paper, a list, mirrors and stained-glass windows are generally used.

Most often style of Art Nouveau is preferred by married couples and unmarried young girls. It is style which softness of the bends and outlines first of all speaks about feminity and tenderness of owners of such interior.
